Finding myself again
Finding myself again –Part One. 17/10/25
Recently I’ve been struggling with my sense of self. I don’t know who I am when I look in the mirror.
I want to find myself again. That funny, life loving girl who saw the joy in everything.
I want to get back into witchcraft. I used to very big into “Pagan” culture – a word I don’t like to use as Paganism isn’t real and juts a word the Christians came up with.
My first step is going to be manifestation.
I am going to try ten different methods of manifestations. I am going to try and manifest three things, Love, money and self-care. Obviously this is a long term change. On the 17/11/25 I will write an update and see how I have manifested what I want to bring into my life.

I am single, in a confusing situationship, flat broke and need to get my shit together.
I got everthing from a website that I shall link at the end.
1. Visualization — See It to Believe It - Love
How it works: Visualization is imagining your desired outcome in vivid detail, engaging all your senses. This mental rehearsal primes your brain and subconscious to recognize opportunities aligned with your goal.
How to use it:
Find a quiet space and relax.
Close your eyes and picture your goal as if it’s happening now.
Feel the emotions — joy, excitement, gratitude.
Visualize sensory details: sights, sounds, smells.
Practice daily for 5-10 minutes.
Pro tip: Combine visualization with affirmations for extra power.
2. Affirmations — Rewire Your Mind – love
How it works: Affirmations are positive statements that challenge and replace negative or limiting beliefs. Repeating affirmations daily helps your subconscious mind accept new truths.
How to use it:
Choose affirmations that resonate with your goals (e.g., “I am worthy of success”).
Speak them aloud with conviction or write them down.
Repeat at least twice daily — morning and night.
Pair with feelings of belief and gratitude.
Pro tip: Use present tense and keep affirmations concise.
3. Gratitude Journaling — Attract Abundance – self care
How it works: Gratitude raises your vibration and shifts your mind-set from lack to abundance. This positive energy attracts more things to be grateful for.
How to use it:
Every day, write down 3-5 things you’re grateful for.
Include specific things related to your manifestation goals.
Reflect on how these blessings make you feel.
Pro tip: Review your journal regularly to boost motivation.
4. Scripting — Write Your Future – self care
How it works: Scripting involves writing a detailed story about your ideal life as if it’s already happening. This helps solidify your intentions and activates emotional energy.
How to use it:
Write in the present tense, describing your day, achievements, and feelings.
Include as many details as possible.
Read your script daily or before bedtime.
Pro tip: Be as specific and authentic as possible.
5. Vision Boards — Visual Reminders – self care
How it works: A vision board is a collage of images and words representing your goals. It keeps your intentions front and center, constantly reminding your subconscious mind.
How to use it:
Gather magazines, print images, or use digital tools.
Choose pictures and words that resonate deeply.
Place the board somewhere you see daily.
Spend a few minutes visualizing each item.
Pro tip: Update your vision board regularly as your goals evolve.
6. Meditation — Calm the Mind, Open the Heart – self care
How it works: Meditation helps quiet negative chatter, reduce stress, and improve focus — all essential for clear manifestation.
How to use it:
Start with 5-10 minutes of focused breathing or guided meditation.
During meditation, set an intention or silently repeat affirmations.
Visualize your goal with calm confidence.
Pro tip: Consistency is key; practice meditation daily.
7. The 55×5 Method — Repetition Meets Focus – money
How it works: This method involves writing a specific affirmation 55 times for 5 consecutive days, reinforcing belief and intention.
How to use it:
Choose a clear affirmation related to your goal.
Write it 55 times in a row each day.
Focus fully on the meaning while writing.
Continue for 5 days without skipping.
Pro tip: Avoid distractions; make it a mindful ritual.
8. Acting “As If” — Embody Your Future Self – Love/ self care
How it works: Acting “as if” means behaving and thinking like you’ve already achieved your desire. This aligns your energy and opens doors.
How to use it:
Dress, speak, and make choices aligned with your desired reality.
Cultivate the mindset and habits of your future self.
Practice confidence and gratitude daily.
Pro tip: Be authentic; don’t force it — let it flow naturally.
9. Letting Go — Trust the Process – Love
How it works: Holding on too tightly can create resistance. Letting go means releasing attachment to how and when things manifest, trusting the universe’s timing.
How to use it:
After setting your intention, surrender the outcome.
Focus on positive feelings instead of obsessing over results.
Engage in activities you enjoy to stay relaxed and open.
Pro tip: Use affirmations like “I trust the timing of my life.”
10. Taking Inspired Action — Align with Opportunities – Love, Self care and Money
How it works: Manifestation isn’t just wishful thinking — it requires action. Inspired action means taking steps that feel right and aligned with your goal.
How to use it:
Stay alert for opportunities, ideas, or nudges.
Take small, consistent steps toward your goal.
Reflect and adjust as you learn.
Pro tip: Celebrate every win, no matter how small.

I have to say I saw more changes than I thought I would.
However, I am still single, no longer in a confusing situationship, still flat broke and still need to get my shit together.
My mood board screen saver
What has changed is my mind-set is more positive. I’m feeling more secure in myself despite a minor slip up due to a silly boy. I think number eight has helped the most with that. I have been “As if” I am fine with everything and for the most part I am. Mixing meditation, visualisation and affirmation together and then doing my gratitude journal has been really helpful for my mental health and my negative thought spirals. The 555 method is hella long but I do want to give it another try.
To help with visualisation I created a mood board for my phone to help more visualise what I want from life.
I did also dabble in spell work – I did a success spell for clarity with my situationship… I certainly got clarity. If you want to full story read my article called The modern dating world – situationship update.
It is safe to say I have not manifested love, in fact it was heartbreak that came… nor did I manifest money but self-care has come and I think that is the most important one.
My next steps in my journey into feeling more myself is going to be exercising… dun dun dun… the most dreaded thing in my life.
